Hi, I'm CocoLa from Gamera Games, a chinese publisher. We've published like Dyson Sphere Program. I wanna know if you have any mailbox that I can contact you, 'cause we have an intro document about our team.
Big bug I'm facing, I originally had the game before neurolink but deleted for reasons I can't remember this is unrelate but I felt might be important, but getting into the bug, is I open the game there is just a black screen, I feel this might just be stuff not loading as there is a grey background with shading but I would like some advice on what to do (p.s: this is on both neurolink and social network)
Overall, I think that neurolink was ported extremely well into 3d, and it felt very natural. From my experience, it seemed that I would beat the game much more frequently with the faster characters (drop out and feral child) than the ones with other moves, but this may just be how I tended to play. Doing away with the ammo system seems to have served it well, not making your character useless if you run out. I think upgrades were handled better in the tower, because it always felt like a strategy on how to upgrade, less luck. It feels that they need a little bit more reworking on how they function. Not sure how well 2p would work for neurolink, at least compared to the excellent 2p of the tower. when leaving the mind phase of the final boss fight. I think adding more grunt enemies into the final boss battle would be good for builds that are more for crowd control. I was also sad to see crates go, as they were really awesome in adding a sense of urgency to grab them, but overall xp was handled much better. In the tower, i honestly don't really know what xp does, but after the first minute of neurolink, I knew it got me upgrades. Mob justice was something else i was sad to see go, but i think that if you want, you could implement it as seen on stage 10. Adding a "life steal" as the final evolution of the force choke would be pretty cool.
Overall, it is a great update and the team should be proud of themselves for the good work. Thank you and you guys are going places (Hopefully steam).
after playing Neurolink it for 2 days straight i found that STUDENT having the worst special ability , it keep making me stuck on rubble or make you slip as this can be fatal at boss fight. PHD is the best volunteer in my experience as he can attack very far and make your ability have less cooldown while having the best active passive at start force choke , force choke with spike with no other knockback active passive is the best on PHD as you can kill boss in just 3 second stun locking them. now DISGRACED CEO is the buggiest volunteer model i found , his suitcase keep getting stuck at rubble, enemy or wall, with his passive more enemy it's really make it more pain in the ass to dodge enemy attack as it's better just stand there menacingly , if there's someone want to win with this do not ever pick LEVITATE it will make you stuck most of the time. overall the game is really good
just did quite a few more runs trying to force a weapon win with every character, mostly reporter for the rerolls, and every time the farthest id get is the first wheelchair mind control guy and die, the weapons only target guys you are looking at and that tends to lead to some real problems and the guns target the strawman, maybe increasing their targeting arc would help alleviate some of the pressure, force shove and slap so far have been a guaranteed win most runs, and as long as you grab at least shove the other powers work great as the shove keeps enemies away long enough for the weapons to refresh, exoskeleton could use an extra block each level as so far it only blocks a single attack at all levels, the extra shove on explosion doesn't proc sometimes, and debris shield can cause some character physics to break and trap you in a chair, which was hilarious, hope some of this helps. loving it so far ^__^
The game is amazing but i would love their to be a Linux version. I am a linux user and i play using wine but still native would be better. Please take this in you consideration
The team is working hard to make the Pc and Mac versions all that they can be - there might be a possibility of a Linux version further down the line, but that would depend entirely on demand.
For those who say neurolink final boss is too hard joke on you, the boss is too too easy, i able to beat it on second run and even some youtuber beat it on first run
For those of you who say hard, you guys kidding and joking right? It is far more easy than the office final boss, the neurolink final boss need to increase difficulty to be serious...
I just hope we can have selection to choose how many level(extend the average play time per level) are there and add more difficulty on boss fight
Btw looking forward to local co-op it be so fun, thank to the developers for the hard work, appreciate it
beating it first or second run doesnt mean its easy, it means you got a good build, not everyone is so lucky, i beat often when using certain skills, and instantly die while using others, so theres no need to insult people who are struggling. i think an endless mode would be fun when more skills or skill evolutions are added in, like an extra arms power that auto punches close enemies, and a custom starting ability character could be fun as well
I play the Mac Rosetta version, and both the Neurolink and base game have no health bars, or word for the pause menu, including leveling up and there not being any words for the abilities, is there any way to fix this?
I just came out of the shadow phase stunned on the floor, and took I think 3 rockets from the boss, taking me from I 21 hp to 5. So I think it could do with being a little shorter. Though maybe I just got really unlucky
I would die to be able to play this game but my computer really cannot handle the graphics. Just on the first level my lag is insane, quitting all applications except for the game. The only time where I am able to get frames above 2 is when I have already somehow killed most people on the level and even then my poor old computer can't really handle it, the game using 62% (once everyone is dead) to run the game
Im not gonna lie its not very good but its a mac from 2015, I'm not looking for 60 fps I would be ecstatic with 15 fps. My Computer is not the best not even close but it's not bad for 2015
Its a MacBook Pro
Processor: 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics (if you need them): Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Once again not great but pretty good for 2015 and I'm not looking for anything over 20 fps just something over 7 or 8 frames
I'm not sure about the gpu, but the i7 and 16gb a memory should be able to run the game. Try using activity monitor to see where all the processing power is. If your computer is just overall extremely slow however, you could try factory reseting the device.
I play this game with nothing else, that I know of open, I quit everything. I have used an activity monitor at times and the CPU usage tends to kind of spike and just go crazy.
At the beginning of the level it is usually using around 60-70%
but when doors open to let in more people my frames tank and reach 0 at times and I can have these moments where my whole computer freezes
Once everyone is dead there is much less cpu used 30-50%
I am currently going through my activity monitor to try and eliminate cpu cycle hungry tasks
wdym reality? if its about the game not being big enough then its totally false. you cant even begin to imagine how poopy games have been accepted to list on steam
when i try to download neurolink nothing happens the first time i click but then after it says something like "could not install: property Build not found" or smth like that
like the boss battle is just about impossible. when u get him to half health u go to this weird place and when u return u cant use ur abilities for way too long. and when u finally get out of it you are in infinite stun. its either a bug or the stun is so long that i die before i could move again.
if you grab force push, slap, and impale with four range increases, i find it makes him a bit easier, though the long stun after return from his shadow relm is a bit on the long side and has ended too many runs with no ability to defend against it, could use a bit of a nerf
in the office version, it's also pretty hard considering it takes around a few hours to beat the game entirely. So I wouldn't be surprised if the neuro link demo also takes hours to win.
ive been playing nerolink and i gotta say, it is really fun, some things need some tweeking, like i have yet to able to beat a run with out forcepush, ive tried doing all weapon run with saws and gun and such, but everytime i get mobbed and die, maybe have an upgrade to increase fire rate or the number of projectiles for some skills? and the CEOs briefcase getting stuck on objects has gotten me killed quite a few times xD, do you have a blogpost or roadmap for your plans on the game?
until you get mobbed while they are on cooldown, ive been playing a while, and when ive tried different builds for the fun of it, the physics tend to be a hindrance, getting stuck on debris while hilarious most of the time, tends to end none AoE runs intantly, unless your playing specific characters, im not saying it needs to made easier, just some balance tweeks here and there, a player shouldnt be shoehorned into picking specific characters or abilities to succeed.
an android port would be too hard to add for them and also because the devs goals are more focused on a steam release. any android or apple version of the game isnt official and is probably a scam.
Every time I press the tab key, the enemies still say "YOU ARE FIRED!" I am playing Neurolink demo, bro! So, this is pretty weird. Maybe you guys should replace it with another word in Neurolink edition?

Some Chinese friends and I like this game very much. Can you add Chinese to the game? Thank you very much!
You and your friends have great taste in games - I can tell. I'm sure the full game when it gets there will have Chinese localisation.
Thank you. I will look forward to it!

Glad you got there in the end ;)

Thank for the detailed and well written feedback. The team appreciates your input
I love the game, only problem is on my mac (M1 MacBook pro) most of the text doesn't appear for me, other than that the game is amazing
We're aware of the text issue on Mac - thanks for getting in touch!
I'm almost out of comments, great game! I was looking for a game like this to play with my son, congratulations to the team.
Thank you for the upload - it's the first double v-tuber video of the game that I've seen - so congratulations. Gave it a like on YouTube.

I would love their to be one. Other than that the game is amazing. BTW is their any performance tweaks that i can do to make it run better
The usual stuff - close any unnecessary resource heavy apps like Chrome - turn off motion blur.

Ah, the latest expansion is actually the neurolink, not the social stuff, how do you access Neurolink?
You download the Neurolink Demo in the downloads section. You open/install the Demo as normal.
thank you, sir.
I play the Mac Rosetta version, and both the Neurolink and base game have no health bars, or word for the pause menu, including leveling up and there not being any words for the abilities, is there any way to fix this?
Try not selecting fullscreen, and instead clicking the green button in the top left of the window. If this doesn't work, try re-downloading the game
None of these fixed the problem but thank you for tryin
We are aware of some issues with the Mac builds - thanks for letting us know!
Will the Office version still get updated or is it already finish?
There is still work to do
will the game cost anything further in development?
More than likely the itch version will stay up - but the fully polished and with more content Steam version will have a cost.
understandable with such a large game.
the robot boss is realy realy realy hard after the shadow realm phase cause of the stun and the fact you cant use attacks for a too long time
So do you think that stun phase needs to be shorter?
YES PLEASE
I just came out of the shadow phase stunned on the floor, and took I think 3 rockets from the boss, taking me from I 21 hp to 5. So I think it could do with being a little shorter. Though maybe I just got really unlucky

I beat neurolink on my first ever try hah
Did you have fun?
when will the game be available on steam
No official stance on dates just yet or even if Steam is a reality - there's still a bunch of work to do :)
wdym reality? if its about the game not being big enough then its totally false. you cant even begin to imagine how poopy games have been accepted to list on steam
I was just being cautiously optimistic - but thank you for the support.
when i try to download neurolink nothing happens the first time i click but then after it says something like "could not install: property Build not found" or smth like that
Thanks for letting us know
Was this using the itch app btw?
yes
We've made a couple of changes - please try again
I can't seem to download the demo it is not showing up
We've made some changes to the process - please try again
im finding the neurolink demo too hard to beat. ive played for about 2 hours in a row and havent managed to beat the last guy
like the boss battle is just about impossible. when u get him to half health u go to this weird place and when u return u cant use ur abilities for way too long. and when u finally get out of it you are in infinite stun. its either a bug or the stun is so long that i die before i could move again.

yeah but a really specific strat is requiered to beat him. i mean 4 range increases depens on your luck a lot. so he definitely needs a nerf.
in the office version, it's also pretty hard considering it takes around a few hours to beat the game entirely. So I wouldn't be surprised if the neuro link demo also takes hours to win.
Keep going - once you figure out a build that you like - things get way easier and more fun.
The itch.io app is dumb and doesnt let people select the demo for download. You can only download the top most file. lol.
Good to know! So I won't be suggesting that if they have Nuero issues. Thank for that :)
We've made a couple of changes - have another try ;)
Nice. looks like i can now select an update to the neuro demo in the app, good job.
Mac bug for the new neurolink demo: When i attempt to download version 0.18Z it doesnt work when downloading.
Thanks for letting us know - what happens when you try?
When i attempt to click download and download it, its says "Cannot read property of build "undefined"
Keep in mind this is still a demo and at early stages - Im sure the full game will be optimized for a variety of setups.
ive been playing nerolink and i gotta say, it is really fun, some things need some tweeking, like i have yet to able to beat a run with out forcepush, ive tried doing all weapon run with saws and gun and such, but everytime i get mobbed and die, maybe have an upgrade to increase fire rate or the number of projectiles for some skills? and the CEOs briefcase getting stuck on objects has gotten me killed quite a few times xD, do you have a blogpost or roadmap for your plans on the game?
just get explosion level 1 or have flex and being mobbed instantly is removed as a problem
until you get mobbed while they are on cooldown, ive been playing a while, and when ive tried different builds for the fun of it, the physics tend to be a hindrance, getting stuck on debris while hilarious most of the time, tends to end none AoE runs intantly, unless your playing specific characters, im not saying it needs to made easier, just some balance tweeks here and there, a player shouldnt be shoehorned into picking specific characters or abilities to succeed.
could you make a portal for android please
an android port would be too hard to add for them and also because the devs goals are more focused on a steam release. any android or apple version of the game isnt official and is probably a scam.
do i have to do something special to play on mac.
all i see is a flat gray screen
definitely a bug, try asking how to fix it in the devs discord
Ok thanks
Have you tried this ? Running the game on a M1 Mac:
Download -> Right click the app -> Get info -> Tick the box 'Open with Rosetta'.
ok imma ask my mother if im adopted
why is it so complicated to doawnload the program
Some people seem to be having an issue with that - I've let the team know
thanks
Are you trying to install it directly or with the itch app?
how do I turn off motion blur
literally in the settings when u first launch lmao
Correct!
i cant download Neurolink demo because i get an error what should i do? Maybe i am the stupid
It's not you! Some people seem to be having issues - we are looking into it. Are you trying to download it directly or are you using the itch app?
Every time I press the tab key, the enemies still say "YOU ARE FIRED!" I am playing Neurolink demo, bro! So, this is pretty weird. Maybe you guys should replace it with another word in Neurolink edition?
Thanks for letting us know.
is the games name "Stick It To The Stickman" or "Stick It To The (Stick)Man"
yes
We need a mobile version for this game I wanna play on the go!
The team is focussing on making the Pc & Mac versions the best that they can be! A mobile version might be something that they look at in the future.
i feel like your phone would explode if you tried to play that with how this games graphics are.
please someone tell me why when i press download on the nerolink demo then press install nothing happends please help
same
Are you on Windows or Mac & are you using the itch app?
can u plz make a version for chromeOS
As far as I'm aware - the work required to make a chromeOS version wouldn't be viable due to the small numbers of people that actually use chromeOS.
oh thank you for even acknowledging it
